I Am Just Korean
This artwork celebrates the resilience and pride of the Korean identity by showing me wrapped in an article of traditional Korean clothing called a hanbok. I've been limited to my race many times in my life as an insult. Yet the words I've heard have never hurt me, instead, I am embraced in my identity and culture as my life is intertwined with my Korean heritage. It isn't something I can run from therefore I will find affirmation within it. Material : Acrylic paint Size : 20 x 16Julia Lee
