First President of Korea Syngman Rhee
After learning about the first president of South Korea I was inspired by the story of how he paved the way for South Koreans to become prosperous. He worked closely with the American political officials to help Korea establish their capitalist economy which was enormously impactful for what South Korea is today. His passion for the education of children was also a key factor because he focused on education for children who were child laborers in the mid 1900's.
