Giraffified
I wanted to capture my imagination and memories, and this was the end product. The giraffe in the drawing is key to the piece; it is drawn to be realistic. However, imaginary and cartoonish humans use it as a playground, representing creativity and imagination in our reality. Furthermore, some of the giraffe’s brown spots serve as cutouts that give insight to my memories, my life, and my identity.
