Cicada Chaos
In my art class, I had to redraw an illustration in my own style. I made sure to add and change certain details to show the narrative of the drawing to be a chaotic and funny one. Each child has their own unique expression, as they react to the same situation in different ways reflecting their cartoon-like style. I attempted to give the drawing an exaggerated perspective, enlarging the cicada while shrinking the girl and her dog. Material : Colored pencils and watercolor on paper Size : 11.5x14.4Samantha Lee
