golmokgil
“Golmokgil” is the romanized word of “골목길”, meaning “alleyway” in Korean. It refers to the often winding and quaint alleyways found in residential or traditional neighborhoods in Korea. This illustration depicts Korea’s cultural architecture worn down by time, conveying the nostalgia that most of the former generations grew up in — losing its physical presence as time passes, but the strong reminder of nostalgia present.
