Echoes Beneath the Light
With my blindfolded self-portrait, I expressed the loss of vision and cognitive sense. With this, I tried to symbolize the confusion, conflicts, and wandering that people often experience during the end of adolescence. The collapsing houses on the back emphasize the chaotic situation, and the absence of safety, comfort, and protection. The figure of a human rolling fast towards me depicts different human conflicts that are unavoidable. Material : Oil paint Size : 30in*40inJia Kim
