Withering Shore
This artwork depicts a woman gazing toward a sunken ship, symbolizing the process of mourning the parts of the past that cannot be recovered. Inspired in part by the recent war involving Iran, the distant wreck represents memories, homes, and lives forever changed by conflict, while also reflecting personal loss. Through muted colors, the direction of the wind, and a paper-like texture, I created a quiet atmosphere that evokes grief, reflection, and the passage of time.
