False Sanctuary: An Internal Destruction
In reality, the two kittens in this artwork are not in the midst of a physical threat. The background of post-war remains represents the internal destruction that I myself was once facing. The kittens specifically are used as symbols of the feeling of vulnerability and fear, where although I am safe and optimistic on the outside, there is always a war going on inside of my mind.
