Inner Garden
This work is a record that interprets my ever-changing and conflicting inner world through the metaphor of a "garden." The heart of an Asian girl navigating adolescence—fraught with identity confusion and painful memories—resembles a desolate garden where carnivorous plants with sharp thorns devour hope and joy. Yet, she looks toward the future, holding fast to a resolute determination never to back down and the hope that the day will come when her garden blooms in abundance once again.
