Still, She Works
Within a traditional South Korean fish market, a woman worked diligently selling shellfish. I photographed the scene and painted it to capture the beauty of the hard work elderly woman endure throughout the nation, as they are quintessential for the culture of Korea. The juxtaposition of the blues and yellows bring life onto the stage, with each burst of yellow representing the passion in her craft while the shades of blue hides away the noise of society.
