Family is not just about sharing blood. Family is made of the people, or animals, you purely love and care about. My dog Sky is an important part of my family. In this painting, I focused closely on her face because it shows so much emotion. She seems to be winking while gently holding her toy, creating a quiet moment of trust and warmth.
