Escape
This painting titled “Escape” depicts what appears to be a teenage girl trying to break free from the grasp of another society. It shows the girl holding onto a fish, relying on it to help her escape from that world and enter her own. The insparation for this painting was the famous “Alice in Wonderland”, as in the story, Alice escapes from her own world into Wonderland, where nothing resembles the world in which she came from.
