Wildlife Pool Party
The California wildfires and droughts have engulfed my community and turned our surroundings dry. When our neighborhood was destroyed, so were the homes of our local wildlife. Driven by survival, these animals have been coming down to our backyard to refresh and cool themselves down. This work centers on our pool—not as a symbol of suburban comfort, but as a vital water source for survival, serving as the setting for an unexpected wildlife pool party.
